Ascent to Pyšný peak 2621m
Pyšný štít is in the ridge passing from Lomnický peak to Baranie saddle and the climb to its summit is a spectacular Tatra climb. Right next to the peak is the Malý Pyšný Peak. The climb starts at Hrebienok and continues with the approach to Téry’s hut. Then it continues with the ascent through the Mačací kotol and the chute to the ridge itself. The ridge to the top of Pyšný peak and the descent is possible via Lomnický peak to the Lomnický saddle. The descent to the Lomnický saddle is more practical because of the return by cable car to Tatranská Lomnica. The other option is to descend to Hrebienok via Téry’s hut.
